About Us

I create art with one purpose at its core — to spread joy. Whether it's a bold glass-and-resin piece or a mixed-media design layered with artist-quality transfers, hand-painted details, and sparkling embellishments, each creation is made to uplift the person who receives it just as much as it uplifted me while making it.

My work blends painting, glass, resin, and beading to create pieces full of color, texture, and light. I love transforming simple materials into art that feels meaningful, cheerful, and alive.

A significant portion of my glass elements come from recycled items such as wine bottles, glassware, crushed glass, decorative glass, and china. I'm always on the lookout for unique materials that add character and charm to my designs.

My husband, Mark, has been my partner in creativity for decades. He builds many of the wood bases and frames for my pieces and is my trusted sounding board for new ideas. We've been married for 48 years and are blessed with three wonderful children, their amazing spouses, and two beautiful granddaughters.

My love for creating began early, learning crocheting and embroidery alongside my grandmother and aunt. In my twenties, I discovered painting — a passion that has stayed with me through ceramics, clothing, wall techniques, and eventually glass art. In 2004, I began creating stained-glass angels in memory of my mother, Gladys.

Gladify Designs was founded in October 2021. The name "Gladify" honors my mother and reflects the daily choice I make to live with joy — a choice I hope shines through every piece I create.
